Debit card fraud alerts are an important way to keep you aware of any suspicious transaction activity in your account. You’re automatically enrolled when you order a debit card.
Should we detect suspicious activity, we’ll send a message to your mobile number. Customers with landline phone numbers will receive a voice message alert. To update your mobile or landline number, contact us at 636-940-5555.
Texts from this service will appear on your mobile device from 877-253-8962 and begin with “FreeMSG 1st State Bk St Charles Fraud Center.” If you receive a text, please confirm the transaction and reply with “yes.” If you did not authorize the transaction, reply with “no.”

Notify First State Bank immediately by calling our Customer Care team at 636-940-5555. They’re available Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. CST. Your lost or stolen debit card will be suspended and a new one issued for a $6.00 fee. After regular business hours, please contact our card hotline at 1-800-472-3272.
After reaching the hotline to cancel your current card, please contact the bank on the next regular business day to order a replacement card. For more detailed information, please refer to your Customer Agreement.
Call 1-800-992-3808 to reset your PIN.

You can reduce your risk of fraud by not giving out your card information and by regularly checking your account activity online.
